We heard a lot of things about the Tuka Beach Marine Park in Kiamba Sarangani Province that ignited our desire to visit this place. Since it was declared as a Muslim Holiday yesterday in celebration of Isra and Mi’raj we invited our friends to come with us.
We left Gensan around 10am already. We dropby at Maasim Public Market to buy our food. We were not able to prepare since this was unplanned outing.
We arrived at Kiamba tourism center at around 12nn. It is located near the town’s park. We had a short brief while at the center. Littering is not allowed, we are given 2 big plastic bags for our garbage that we need to bring back. If not, our Php100 deposit will be forfieted. The entrance fee is Php50 for adults and 15 for kids. While the boat fare is Php 100 for round trip. You just need to tell them what time they will pick you up. After we all have been registered and paid the fee we each been given life vest, even for our little Sunshine.
There are four coves but only the third cove is open to the public. It is secluded area so be sure to bring your own food as there is no store where you can buy food.
If you want to unwind and relax, this is the perfect place for you. This is truly a paradise. With little or no preparation at all, we all enjoyed our outing.
