Yakimix Sushi and Smokeless Grill Restaurant is one of the few buffet restaurants in General Santos City. It is a Japanese with Asian fusion themed eat all you can buffet which is located in Veranza mall adjacent to KCC mall of Gensan.

They had a price hiked starting January. Their dinner is now Php550 while their lunch is Php450 plus five percent service charge. But during holidays and weekends both dinner and lunch cost Php 550. The kids 4ft below is Php240 while the 3ft below is free. It’s little bit pricey but it’s justified with the choices of food available.

They had wide array of sushies and other Japanese foods. If your not a Japanese food lover they have Chinese and Filipino foods also. My favorate is the lechon kawali. Pizza and breads are also in the house. And don’t forget their salad bar with different choices of dressings. For the sweet tooth, you will love their desserts. You can ask them to prepare you a crepe or you can pick on what been displayed. My favorate on this side is the pinacota and off course the ice cream since I’m an ice cream lover. I almost forgot to mention that you can choose the drinks that you want, from sodas to juices to hot beverages.

Last Tuesday we had the privileged of having dinner at Yakimix with some of our friends. I think we tried almost all their dishes. So the price was worth it. The saying “the first shall be last” makes sense to us. We were the first few customers that arrived early and we were the last few customers who left the store.
