We Received our Invitation to Apply for Canadian Permanent Residency
As I mentioned in my previous post, we received our NBPNP nomination on December 4, 2017 and right away we decided to do our medical exam on December 6, 2017 even though we haven’t received our Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residency yet since we are still waiting for the next Express Entry Draw.
As per previous round of invitation, the Express Entry Draw usually happens on Wednesdays. So, we expected that the next draw will be on December 6, 2017. Aside from it’s a Wednesday, the last draw was three weeks ago which was on November 15, 2017.
The Express Entry 79th Draw
And we are right with our prediction. On December 6, 2017 at 04:20:20 UTC or 10:20 pm Philippine time the 79th Express Entry Draw was conducted. This is the third draw that the Express Entry tie-break procedure was applied. Wherein the system will rank all the tied candidates based on the date and time the Express Entry profile was submitted.
We were on the road when the result of the draw was announced. We only learned it through the whatsapp group. When we arrived home, we right away checked my Express Entry profile. It’s now official! We are invited to submit our full application for Permanent Residency in Canada.
Another step to reach our Canadian Dream
